Epitaxy Production Technician / Produktionstechniker (m/f/d)

Innolume GmbH is a leading provider of optoelectronic devices based on InGaAs/GaAs quantum-well and quantum-dot technologies, covering a wavelength range from 780 nm to 1350 nm. Our company specializes in the development of customized photonic devices tailored precisely to our customers' requirements.

With our two MBE reactors, we support the epitaxial growth of In, Al, Ga, and AsP/GaAs heterostructures, ensuring flexibility and sustainability for both development and volume production. 

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an Epitaxy Production Technician / Produktionstechniker (m/f/d) to join our team at our headquarters in Dortmund on a permanent basis. 

• Operate and monitor MBE production systems and associated equipment. 
• Support the execution and monitoring of epitaxial growth processes in a production environment. 
• Assist in process control activities and contribute to continuous process improvement. 
• Support production, R&D, and maintenance teams in daily operations. 
• Perform routine inspections, measurements, and documentation of process results. 
• Prepare and maintain process documentation and production records. 
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving process- and equipment-related issues. 
• Follow and support Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) procedures and standards. 
• Participate in training activities and continuously develop technical knowledge and skills. 
• Contribute to quality assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives. 

• Completed technical vocational training, apprenticeship, technician qualification, or degree in a technical or scientific field. 
• Interest in semiconductor manufacturing, photonics, or high-tech production environments. 
• Experience in cleanroom environments, laboratory work, semiconductor manufacturing, or related technical fields is advantageous but not required. 
• Good understanding of technical processes and willingness to learn complex manufacturing technologies. 
• Strong attention to detail and a structured way of working. 
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. 
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude. 
• Good English language skills are required. 
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications is beneficial.
