External Lecturer (m/f/d) for the subject Cryptocurrencies and other Alternative Investments

We are looking for a new colleague to join our Business Department Team in Hamburg, Germany starting this summer semester 2025, who shares our vision of excellence in education and who is committed to making a difference in the lives of our students and staff.

The teaching load comprises 3 SWS (teaching units).

The opportunity:

To become a lecturer at a university of applied sciences sharing your knowledge and passion with students from all over the world

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

- Implementation of the Master course (teaching language: English), in particular:

• Introduction to cryptocurrencies
• Blockchain technology and systems
• Law and regulation in blockchain
• Blockchain and innovation management
• Smart Contracts in blockchain and digital currency
• Decentralized financial systems
• Token economics
• Token (Security Token, Utility Token, Non-fungible Token …)
• Crowdfinancing (Crowdinvesting, Crowdfunding, Crowdlending)
• Robo Advisor, Copy Trading, Social Trading

• Relevant professional experience
• Place of living in or near Hamburg/Germany (lectures to take place on-site or online)
• Completed relevant university studies (at least a Master’s degree)
• Teaching experience at universities
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Organisational skills and willingness to work hard
• Experience working in international environments welcome
• Must be eligible for freelance work if you are a non-EU citizen

• An open-ended framework contract as an external lecturer
