Work closely with our CEO, Head of Strategy, and broader leadership team to shape Baobab’s long-term success and contribute to strategic decisions
Conduct in-depth research and analysis on new markets, product opportunities, and strategic partnerships
Drive execution of cross-functional strategic projects together with internal stakeholders and external partners
Be a catalyst for growth, insight, and operational excellence across all levels of the company
As Founder Associate, you will take on a broad range of high-impact tasks:
Drive international expansion and GTM – Shape and execute go-to-market strategies in new regions
Manage strategic partnerships – Develop and maintain insurer and partner relationships
Financial modeling & business analysis – Conduct financial analyses that support decision-making and investor relations
Support leadership & board – Create strategic materials, presentations, and business cases
Steer operations & analytics – Own the internal KPI dashboard and improve performance tracking
Own special projects – Step in where needed to solve key challenges across teams
We don’t expect the ideal candidate to have had prior experience with any of the projects above. We believe this role will particularly suit scrappy generalists with a growth mindset, who want to learn quickly and make an impact across all parts of a fast growing startupYou bring a mix of strategic thinking, operational execution, and a hands-on mentality. You:
Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top-tier university with a proven track record of academic and professional excellence
Bring 2+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, or from the startup ecosystem
Are comfortable with financial modeling and data analysis
Can translate business needs into data insights and reporting solutions
Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
Have strong analytical and presentation skills
Work independently with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
Have experience managing multi-stakeholder projects
Willingness to travel in Europe as required
Are fluent in German and English
