As part of an international climate initiative project focused on strengthening ecosystem resilience in Colombia, we are seeking an experienced freelance consultant to support green businesses in the circular economy sector, particularly in waste valorization (e.g. plastics, organic waste, glass, used cooking oils).
In this role, you will work closely with local enterprises and project partners, contributing to organizational strengthening and business development:
- Conduct organizational, business, and operational assessments
- Identify gaps and improvement opportunities in governance, processes, and sustainability
- Design and implement organizational development measures
- Perform benchmarking analysis (national & international best practices)
- Adapt and transfer best practices to the local island context
- Support the development of sustainable and scalable business models
- Develop implementation roadmaps, including KPIs, priorities, and actions
- Prepare reports, documentation, and stakeholder presentations
Key Deliverables
- Detailed work and implementation plan
- Organizational and operational diagnostics report
- Benchmarking study on circular economy best practices
- Implementation and action plan (short- and long-term)
- Regular progress reports
- Final report including recommendations, lessons learned, and sustainability roadmap
