Functional Lead Quality Assurance Software Testing (m/f/d)

In this role, you will be the guardian of our diagnosis product software quality, ensuring that our eBike systems are reliable, efficient, and enjoyable to use. Your work will directly impact the way our product is serviced and maintained in the market, making our customers journeys safer, more convenient, and more sustainable. Your mision will be to ensure that our digital products not only meet but exceed the expectations of our users. You will champion the cause of the user within the organization, ensuring that every feature we develop, every line of code we write, is done with the user’s experience in mind.
 
Your role is not only to define technological choices for the QA team but to foster a culture of quality, precision, and innovation. You will be an inspiring example for the other testers, living the values of  user-centric testing, proactive problem solving, and continuous learning. Your goals are to make sure the team is proficient in QA methodologies, adaptable, agile, and always ready to take on new challenges To avoid misunderstandings, functional leadership means for us being responsible for the technological focus of the department and not the disciplinary leadership of the employees.

• Drive testing efforts on mobile, front and backend projects
• Plan, create, and manage the overall testing strategy within the department and align it with the company-defined strategy
• Ensure the team is sufficiently staffed, has a decent workload and the adequate tools to effectively tackle the ongoing/planned product roadmap
• Maintain the test management tooling and test cases repository
• Select automation strategies and implement automated tests in complex environments
• Review requirements and design with critical approach
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure consistent project execution
• Suggest solutions to identified problems
• Identify quality assurance process bottlenecks and suggest actions for improvement
• Prepare and present reports and quality metrics to the team

• 5+ Years of experience in a software-related Quality Assurance or similar role focused on software quality
• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with software QA tools
• A professional authority, mentor to junior team members and experience in providing technical guidance for the team
• Proven track record on successful manual and automated testing of commercial projects. 
• Experience with test automation frameworks
• Capable of setting up and managing complete testing frameworks, environment, and test code
• Proficient in troubleshooting web, mobile and desktop apps across varied infrastructure ecosystems
• Substantial experience and proficiency in manual and exploratory testing approaches
• Experience in JIRA or similar project planning/tracking platforms
• Proactive attitude and a strong commitment to collaborative teamwork
• Very good command of English language
