UNITED HEAVY LIFT is an internationally operating and dynamically growing shipping company specializing in the heavylift segment. We bring together several specialized brands and business units that collectively cover all key functions of a modern shipping organization, ranging from chartering and operations to crewing, technical management, finance, and administration.

Our fleet consists of 22 modern heavy-lift vessels operating worldwide. These are supported by strong shore-based structures that ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective vessel operations.

We invite you to become part of our team at our headquarters in Hamburg's HafenCity (40 hours/week):

• Lead and manage the Business Applications & Digital Transformation department, both functionally and disciplinarily
• Take responsibility for the operation, maintenance, and continuous development of the company's core business applications, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and M-Files
• Plan, manage, and successfully deliver IT and digitalization projects aligned with the company's strategic objectives
• Introduce and further develop professional project management methodologies and project governance standards within the IT organization
• Analyze, optimize, and digitalize business processes in close collaboration with business departments
• Identify and implement opportunities in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and digital innovation
• Advise business stakeholders on technical solutions, process improvements, and digital transformation initiatives
• Manage external service providers, implementation partners, and software vendors
• Oversee resource and capacity planning within the area of responsibility
• Actively contribute to the further development of the company's IT and digital transformation strategy

• University degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration with a focus on IT, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in business applications, ERP systems, digital transformation, or IT project management
• Proven experience in leading employees and cross-functional teams
• Strong expertise in project management and the delivery of complex IT projects
• Ideally, experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, document management systems, or similar enterprise applications
• Strong interest in digitalization, process optimization, automation, and Artificial Intelligence
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• Good command of German and English, both written and spoken
