Arbeitsbeschreibung - Innovationsingenieur (m/w/d) Schwerpunkt Embedded Systems, KI & digitale Innovationen

You develop embedded software for innovation projects – from feasibility analysis, through concept creation to prototyping.
You investigate feasibility and design digital features as well as their technical framework conditions.
You design and develop/implement algorithms for intelligent controls and automations.
You collaborate with and support our electronics developers.
You work cross-functionally on innovation topics in an interdisciplinary team.
You scout, monitor, and analyse relevant technology trends and developments in your field and proactively develop your own project proposals.

You have a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, embedded systems, or a comparable field.
You have 5-6 years of experience in embedded software development (C/C++, etc.).
You have experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence and the development of intelligent applications and data analysis.
You have a basic understanding of digital platforms, cloud connections, and app integration.
You have a basic understanding of hardware development and electronics.
Despite your solid expertise in a specific field, you see yourself as a generalist, can quickly understand complex issues, and ideally have experience with innovation projects.
You are familiar with current technologies and have an overview of upcoming trends and developments.
You speak fluent English; German is an advantage.
You enjoy biking.
