Junior Product Owner (m/w/d) - Connected

To strengthen our development team at our Bruchsal site (near Karlsruhe), we are looking for a Product Owner (m/f/d) Connected as soon as possible to specify new modules and products for our browser-based information system used in mechanized tunnel construction.

• Requirements Analysis and Mockups: In close coordination with our product managers and customers, you define the requirements for our software. Using the developed mockups, you test the implemented ideas together with potential end users.
• Derivation of Epics and User Stories: Based on the verified requirements, you create the necessary epics and user stories as preparation for development.
• Interface between Market and Technology: As a key link in an agile Scrum process, you play a major role in shaping the product and bring together market requirements and technical solutions.
• Quality Assurance and Release Coordination: You conduct acceptance tests for your product and take responsibility for coordinating releases.
• Technology Selection: Together with our technical experts, you choose the optimal solution for your product from various technologies – ranging from traditional programming and low-code approaches to AI and cloud solutions.
• Data Integration and Analysis: You maintain an overview of the relevant data sources of our information system and can independently integrate them into low-code solutions such as Power BI.
• Hands-on Implementation at the Customer's Site: During the implementation phase, you are directly on-site at the customer's construction site, gathering valuable feedback and assisting with configuration as well as integrating data sources into the customer network.
• Transition to Regular Operation: To ensure a smooth transition of your product from the pilot phase to regular operation, you work closely with project management, define processes, and create training materials. Ongoing optimization based on user feedback and support requests is also part of your responsibilities.

• Technical Background: You have a completed degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, or a technical vocational training and have already gained initial insights into professional life.
• Experience with Agile Methods: Ideally, you are familiar with agile processes and bring the appropriate mindset.
• Interest in Tunnel Construction: You find the tunnel construction industry exciting and want to actively shape innovations in this field.
• Communication Skills and Customer Focus: With your personable and communicative nature, you find it easy to capture customer requirements and convey them clearly to the software development team.
• On-Site Engagement: You are excited to explore tunnel construction sites up close and are not afraid to visit our customers directly on-site when needed.
• Language Skills: You communicate fluently in both German and English.
