(Junior) System Manager - ISCC PLUS (Agriculture)

If you are passionate about sustainability and would like to join our highly motivated and diverse teams to make a difference, we are looking forward to welcoming you as (Junior) System Manager - ISCC PLUS (Agriculture) in our team at the ISCC head office in Cologne.  

 Your main duties will be:

• You will take care of the development of ISCC certificate schemes for agriculture
• You will develop Regenerative Agriculture add-on 
• You will analyze market needs for sustainability certification with regard to the agriculture market
• You will monitor and assess relevant legislation
• You will initiate, organize and participate in stakeholder communication regarding agriculture in sustainability certification
• You will further develop and conduct ISCC trainings 
• You will establish and maintain good working relations with relevant regulators and policy makers
• You will develop principles, criteria and indicators for the ISCC PLUS standard
• You will develop and update system documents, audit procedures and guidance documents for certified companies and auditors
• You will represent ISCC at external events (e.g. conferences, stakeholder meetings)

• University degree in agriculture, agricultural economics, plant science or another related field
• At least 1-2 years of professional experience after graduation
• Relevant professional experience after graduation within agricultural sector for similar topics
• Basic knowledge of the relevant legislation in the field (e.g. RED II)
• Proven professional experience in project management
• Excellent communication skills in an international environment with stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent language skills in English (at least C1), additional language skills will be of advantage
• Service-oriented thinking and excellent networking capability, especially in international environments
• Very strong presentation skills as well as the ability to explain complex issues in simple terms and to prepare professional presentations according to target group
• General IT proficiency and very good working knowledge in databases and MS Office
• High degree of initiative and very good decision-making ability combined with an independent working style and pragmatic, hands-on attitude
• Willingness to contribute to the continuous improvement process and to drive change
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally
