Arbeitsbeschreibung - LEAD ANALOG / MIXED-SIGNAL LAYOUT ENGINEER (M/F/D)

We are looking for an experienced "Lead Analog / Mixed Signal Layout Engineer (m/f/d)" to contribute to our Circuit Design Team in Germany / Mannheim or Austria / Villach (hybrid work model). The team is tasked with delivering high quality and best performing solutions for high-speed data interfaces. We prioritize timely delivery, design quality, and a customer-centric approach in everything we do.

Leading the layout implementation of full-custom digital and analog/mixed-signal macros, owning the top-level views.
Taking responsibility of delivering fully physically verified layouts to the digital backend implementation team.
Working with circuit design engineers to estimate and schedule work and coordinate layout efforts.
Leading a group of layout engineers, distributing work packages and ensuring quality of results.
Drive the continuous improvement of inhouse guidelines and a semi-automated full-custom layout workflow.
Working closely with circuit design and digital implementation groups to support a successful and on-time product release.

B.S./M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related subject with emphasis on hardware design.
10+ years of experience in layout design.
Experience implementing high speed analog layout designs to achieve good matching, low parasitics and high bandwidth.
Understanding of IR drop, RC delay, electromigration and coupling capacitance.
Expert in interpreting physical verification reports (DRC, ERC, LVS, etc.)
Proficient in Cadence design flow and full-custom EDA layout tools, in particular Virtuoso Layout XL and DRC / ERC / LVS / DFM check procedures.
Worked with Cadence Virtuoso Layout XL, Pegasus and Calibre.
Worked in advanced process nodes (FinFET, multi-patterning).
Basic circuit design, schematic entry and simulation experience is a plus.
Script programming languages such as Python, TCL, Skill are a plus.
Good written and oral communication skills in English are required.
