Arbeitsbeschreibung - Lead Ingenieur Verfahrenstechnik (m/w/d)

In the Product Development, Engineering and Standardization (PES) department, a highly qualified, interdisciplinary team ensures that our products and processes are continuously improved. Our aim is to translate individual customer requirements into standardized technical solutions and to develop and design these at the highest level. We make use of the latest scientific findings and technical methods in order to be successful as a team. We are looking for you as a Lead Engineer Process Engineering (m/f/d) to support commercial project development.

  • Management of process engineering projects as technical lead within a project team
  • Technical leadership of a working group in process engineering design 
  • Process development and support of the specialist team by clarifying technical issues
  • Carrying out basic and detailed engineering through to the successful implementation of projects 
  • Collaboration with internal and external experts in the development and planning of technical concepts and solutions in all project phases
  • Checking and, if necessary, creating process flow diagrams and drawing up material and energy balances
  • Ensuring the fulfillment of technical requirements and project goals in close cooperation with other engineers, project managers and customers
  • Completed degree in process engineering, chemical engineering or comparable training
  • Many years of experience in process engineering, chemical engineering and plant planning, ideally in general/site planning  
  • High degree of independence and assertiveness
  • Confident handling of MS Office 
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Willingness to travel on business
