Arbeitsbeschreibung - Marketing Copywriter & Content Specialist (m/f/d)

The global Marketing team at Arethia is looking for a Copy & Content Specialist to support with content creation and copywriting across its portfolio of four brands. In this role, you will work in close collaboration with a Brand Lead, Graphic Designer, and Trade Show and Event Lead to bring the brands to life in both on-line and off-line channels. The brands are at varying stages of maturity, so you will have the opportunity to creatively influence and shape the tone of voice and social media presence of the brands. You will be representing the Marketing team at Arethia’s largest office in Reinbek, and will be part of a truly international organization that collaborates across offices in Switzerland, Dubai, and Indonesia.

Write, edit, and proofread copy in English at a fluent/native speaker level. Speak and write in German at a high level of proficiency (C1 or higher).
Produce copy for brand and sales content such as web copy, landing pages, news/blog posts, email newsletters, paid media ads, social media (including use of hashtags and relevant acronyms), brochures, magazine articles, and trend reports.
Contribute content ideas to the editorial calendars for digital touchpoints, including news/blog posts, email newsletters, social media posts.
Develop the brands' tone of voice and fine-tune it to achieve desired outcomes (persuade, inform, educate, convert etc.)
Conduct keyword research and employ SEO best practices to optimize online content.
Be creative and hands-on with social media content creation, and monitor/respond to comments on behalf of the brands.
Foster a positive relationship with the Sales & Marketing team members across our global offices. This is key for cross-functional projects related to trade fairs, trend reports, marketing collateral and representing the brands on social media.
Support on occasional ad-hoc marketing coordination tasks that require a physical presence in Reinbek (i.e. receiving a delivery of trade fair brochures, taking photos of new employees for social media posts, etc.)

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in communications, advertising, marketing, English, journalism or another related field
4+ years relevant work-experience
Ability to speak and write in English fluently and idiomatically (min. C2)
Ability to speak and write in German (min. B2)
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Solid understanding of keyword search and SEO
Ability to be onsite 2-3 days per week

Creative and excited to write copy in different tones of voice, matching our different brands
Motivated, flexible, and pro-active, with a hands-on mentality
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders from production staff to C-Level team members
Ability to work efficiently and accurately, even when under pressure
Ability to speak and write in German fluently and idiomatically (min. C2)
