North Central Regional Leader

The primary responsibility for this position is to lead, develop and care for the Field Leaders in the North Central region (Austria, Germany, Switzerland). This position is the standard bearer of GEM’s mission and vision in the region.

Specific responsibilities include:

- Effectively cast and deliver the Mission and Vision of GEM.

- Participate in the Europe Leadership Team ensuring the smooth operation of GEM ministries in Europe. Includes weekly team meetings, regular one-on-one meetings with the Sr. Regional Leader, and meetings with direct reports.

- Ensure appropriate relations with the host countries and GEM workers: visas, taxes, registered national entities in partnership with GEM.

- Ensure that necessary administrative tasks are fulfilled at the regional level: budgets, expense reports, metrics, developmental reviews, team trainings, field retreats, etc.

- Travel for regular site visits, ELT meetings (approximately 3 times/year), and GEM-wide events like Renew or All.

- Help mobilize workers for the region.

- Requires 70-80% of total work time.

Qualifications

- Deep walk with Jesus in prayer, the Word, and community with other believers

- Experience working inter-culturally

- Proven leadership experience in ministry development, disciple-making, and leading an effective team

- Preferred BS/BA degree or relevant experience
