Arbeitsbeschreibung - Pricing Support Specialist (m/f/d)

Define and implement standardized procurement processes in line with the strategies of European Headquarters (EHQ) and GLOVIS Europe (GEU).
Structure and manage vendor sourcing groups within the procurement system (GPMS), ensuring accurate and up-to-date data.
Monitor compliance with procurement approval workflows and reporting procedures.
Conduct thorough market research and analysis to anticipate and respond to trends in the European logistics sector.
Manage the RFI/RFQ process for logistics and forwarding procurement using GPMS, ensuring competitive and transparent sourcing.
Support the development of new logistics networks to meet evolving business needs.
Work closely with Heads of Product to align procurement activities with broader company objectives.
Identify and assess new suppliers and logistics partners to strengthen and diversify our supply base.
Oversee supplier qualification and due diligence processes within GPMS, ensuring alignment with internal standards.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships through regular reviews and collaborative discussions.
Lead negotiations and manage tariff procurement to secure favorable terms and maximize value.
Evaluate supplier performance through key KPIs and implement improvements where necessary.
Ensure consistency and alignment in procurement SOPs across all relevant teams and entities.
Handle procurement-related issues proactively and oversee contract management in GPMS.
Prepare regular reports and updates to support decision-making at the management level.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
At least 5 years of experience in the Freight Forwarding or Logistics industry
Strong planning and organizing capabilities with a strategic mindset
Proven negotiation skills and analytical thinking
Service-oriented with a deep understanding of market dynamics
Project management experience with process improvement focus
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive collaborative results
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Russian language skills are a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
