Arbeitsbeschreibung - Projektleiter*in Neuanlagenbau (m/w/d)

Project management and execution of the new build of our first methanol demo plant in Saxony-Anhalt
Management and liaison between external partners and contractors and C1's internal engineering team
Development, maintenance and management of a project budget including variance analysis and regular reporting to C1 management
Support in the preparation and review of all commercial contracts and agreements (offtake, supply, EPC, utilities, labor, consultants) in coordination with C1's commercial team and external legal advisors.
Key liaison with local authorities, permitting bodies and environmental agencies.
Coordinate the regulatory approval process, including BImSchG application, environmental impact assessment and development plan (if applicable).
Develop and update a project roadmap coordinating milestones for permitting, legal, commercial and construction preparations.
Representing the project to a chemical/industrial park and local municipalities
Preparing project documentation and tracking compliance for regulatory approvals, managing grants and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Support with grant management (application, drawdowns, proof of use, reporting)

10+years of experience as a project manager in new chemical plant construction with at least 2-3 successfully completed greenfield projects
Strong commercial mindset and pragmatic approach to deliver the demonstration project within budget and on time.
Experience in working with various stakeholders, from suppliers to management at operational as well as strategic level.
Strong knowledge of the German licensing and regulatory framework (in particular BImSchG, EIA, Seveso III).
Understanding of commercial project interfaces (supply chain, utilities, product acceptance) in an industrial environment.
Excellent organizational and coordination skills in multidisciplinary teams, including digital tools
Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
Ability to work proactively in an agile, novel project environment.‍
