Freaks 4U Gaming is looking for experienced and strategically minded Publisher Relations Directors to lead and grow our collaborations with top-tier international game publishers at an executive level. In this role, you will hold full commercial responsibility for key partnerships and develop tailored strategies for long-term business development. You will oversee the entire sales cycle, identify upselling opportunities, and ensure our services – from agency solutions to production capabilities – are aligned with partner needs and delivered effectively. This position is based on-site at our Berlin-Spandau headquarters.
Your responsibilities:Strategic ownership and development of selected publisher partnerships
Design and execution of business strategies aligned with company objectives
Building and maintaining strong relationships with client-side decision-makers
Identifying and leveraging cross- and upselling opportunities
Managing and aligning internal briefings to ensure smooth execution by specialist departments
Leading and supporting complex contract negotiations in coordination with our Legal team
Ensuring compliance with commercial, contractual, and quality standards
Attending publisher meetings, strategic reviews, and executive-level presentations
Required qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development – ideally in the gaming, media, or agency sector
Proven success in developing and expanding strategic client relationships
Strong commercial mindset with confident and professional interaction at executive level
Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken)
In-depth understanding of the gaming and esports landscape, including marketing, content, and analytics
Experience with CRM tools and client-related forecasting
Preferred qualifications:
Experience selling agency services (e.g., media, broadcast, content)
Familiarity with project management tools and reporting workflows
Participation in industry events such as Gamescom, DreamHack, IFA, etc.
Strong presentation and negotiation skills in strategic client contexts
