About The Role

As a Senior AI Engineer, you will spearhead the research and development of intelligent, agent‑driven analytics capabilities that unlock the full value of UXCam’s rich interaction data. Partnering closely with Product Leadership and cross‑functional teams, you will translate our AI vision into scalable, production‑ready solutions—laying the technical foundation for the next generation of product‑analytics experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing

Invent state‑of‑the‑art methods for agent‑powered, self‑service product analytics—applying generative AI, and state-of-the-art statistics and ML techniques.
Design and implement Model Context Protocol (MCP)–compliant tools and interfaces that AI agents can invoke to generate meaningful, context‑aware insights for our customers.
Architect and scale data‑analytics infrastructure on AWS, employing Trino, ORC, Redis, and PostgreSQL to process billions of behavioural events efficiently and cost‑effectively.
Collaborate deeply with Product, Design, and Engineering to shape UXCam’s AI roadmap—from discovery and rapid prototyping to production deployment and continuous improvement.
Champion data quality, governance, and privacy, ensuring that analytic outputs are robust, trustworthy, and compliant with GDPR and SOC 2.
Enable and mentor fellow engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of experimentation, rigorous peer review, and engineering excellence.

What You’ll Need to Succeed at this role

5+ years of hands‑on experience building data‑intensive or AI‑driven products at scale, with at least 3 years focused on machine‑learning engineering or applied research.
Expert‑level Python (Django/FastAPI) and strong proficiency in distributed‑query engines (Trino/Presto) and columnar formats (ORC/Parquet).
Proven track record designing real‑time or batch data pipelines on AWS (e.g., S3, EMR, Glue, Lambda, ECS/EKS).
Deep understanding of modern LLM and agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI, Hugging Face Transformers) and how to operationalise them in production.
Excellent communication and product‑thinking skills—you can distil complex technical concepts into clear business value.

Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
Experience implementing causal‑impact analysis, anomaly‑detection, or session‑replay analytics at scale.
Familiarity with vector databases, semantic‑search, and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
Prior exposure to B2B SaaS or developer‑tooling products.
