Senior AI Strategist (m/f/d)

As a Senior AI Strategist at Merantix Momentum, you bring deep domain and consulting experience, using your expertise to guide client engagements from case identification to implementation. You act as a sparring partner to colleagues, steer strategic conversations with stakeholders, and align technical and business goals. You are informed and opinionated on AI trends, best practices, and adoption pathways—able to educate, challenge, and influence with credibility.

You actively drive the growth of our business. You take ownership in lead generation and conversion by engaging prospective clients, shaping proposals, and supporting pre-sales and account development with confidence and clarity. With a strong presence and entrepreneurial mindset, you represent our AI Strategy perspective externally—through expert discussions, LinkedIn content, and thought leadership in our core verticals.

Internally, you contribute to the continuous development of our AI Strategy practice by evolving tools, methods, and know-how—leading by example with a fast-paced, can-do attitude and high degree of self-assurance.

Your main responsibilities will include the following:

• Lead Strategic AI Projects: Steer the end-to-end execution of AI-strategy projects—advising multidisciplinary teams, shaping project scope, and ensuring positive client impact.

• Drive Business Growth: Generate and convert pipeline opportunities in partnership with the Growth team; support pre-sales, proposal writing, and key-account expansion with an entrepreneurial mindset.

• Thought Leadership & Advocacy: Advance Merantix Momentum’s voice in AI adoption—educating stakeholders with informed, opinionated perspectives on trends and best practices.

• Advance the AI Strategy practice: Evolve our methodologies, tools, and frameworks to keep our offering state-of-the-art, bringing in consulting or domain expertise into the team.

• Mentor & Enable Colleagues: Act as a senior advisor and role model—coaching team members, sharing knowledge, and fostering a fast-paced, can-do culture that builds long-term success for the team, clients, and Merantix Momentum alike.

• Knowledgeable about common Machine Learning techniques and trends, experience in evaluating Machine Learning models and AI use case conceptualization

• Organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize appropriately and effectively investigate a problem with the support of analytical data

• Curiosity to constantly explore and learn about new AI solutions and areas at the intersection of technology and business

• Experience in working with and for clients including great communication skills in German and English

• Preferably MBA or Master in/related to Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or self-taught Machine Learning experience

• Preferably 3+ years of full-time working experience in management consulting, leading startups, technology companies, or other fast-paced environments
