Senior Application Operations Specialist (m/w/d)

• Operate, maintain, and optimize our industry-specific applications in a hosting environment

• Administer and manage Oracle databases, OCI and RDS instances

• Ensure stable and high-performing application operations

• Maintain services on Windows servers (patching, hardening, housekeeping)

• Manage and monitor applications in AWS and Azure cloud environments

• Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline operations

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our managed services

• Collaborate closely with development, consulting, and internal departments

• Create documentation and process descriptions

• Proven experience with Oracle database administration

• Strong technical expertise in Oracle OCI, RDS, Windows, and Linux

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure

• Understanding of networking technologies (routing, switching, VPN, etc.)

• Experience in managing high-availability applications with monitoring and alerting tools

• Skilled in scripting and programming for process automation

• Independent, solution-oriented mindset and a strong team player

• Creative and proactive in driving improvements

• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
