Arbeitsbeschreibung - Senior Buchhalter:in (all gender)

Independent handling of the operative day-to-day business, in particular review of incoming and outgoing invoices as well as the creation of outgoing invoices, payment transactions and contact person for internal or external stakeholders
Technical coordination and processing of all current business transactions, i.e. general accounting as well as accounts receivable and accounts payable in cooperation with your colleagues in the Finance team
Managing and coordinating the (virtual) credit cards of middle management and purchasing
Assistance and independent preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements with the accounting team in accordance with HGB
Close cooperation with Controlling for the preparation of ad hoc reports
Participation in internal projects in the area of finance, in particular with auditors and tax consultants
Further optimization of accounting and finance processes in cooperation with your colleagues

Required:

Successfully completed training as a tax clerk or completed studies with a focus on accounting / taxes
Several years of relevant professional experience, e.g. in a tax consultancy or in an accounting department
Solid expertise in payment transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly and annual financial statements
Confident handling of the accounting software DATEV is a must
Very good knowledge of commercial law (HGB), IFRS knowledge is a plus
Very high quality standards for work results as well as reliability and sense of responsibility
You are a team player and can organize yourself well
Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, is required
You speak fluent German and very good English

Required:

A passion for gaming and esports
You have a keen sense for digital topics and a natural understanding of software such as Jira, Candis and Confluence
Experience with intercompany invoicing is a plus
