About the role

We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Business Data Analyst to lead data-driven projects from idea to delivery, starting in January 2026. You’ll work closely with customers to turn complex questions into smart, actionable solutions—whether through dashboards, prototypes, or full-scale products. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys connecting business and tech, spotting opportunities in data, and driving real impact.

In this role you will

Lead the design, development, maintenance, and timelines of ongoing metrics, reports, dashboards, and deliverables to support and drive key business decisions.
Collaborate with various teams to collect analytical, technical and business requirements. Identify and mitigate risks and issues, tap into connections, and transform vague business ideas or requirements into tangible data solutions with a high attention to detail.
Deep dive into large data sets to answer key business questions using a wide range of data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python), web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Webtrends), cloud services (e.g., Azure, GCP, AWS), and BI solutions (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Looker).
Identify business opportunities or areas for improvement and leverage new and existing technologies to support critical business processes and drive data-driven decision-making.
Take leadership of projects by prioritizing deliverables, crafting project roadmaps, aligning architecture, ensuring data quality and integrity, delegating tasks, supporting full implementation, and presenting results to customers.
Experience in implementing PoC/PoV/prototypes and scaling them into working product solutions in the areas of advanced analytics and machine learning/GenAI solutions.
Conceptualize and implement data pipelines, advanced analytics, and machine learning/GenAI solutions in collaboration with Data Engineers and Data Scientists.
Align deliverables with business goals and anticipate customer needs.
Continuously evaluate new technologies and tools regarding their use and benefits. Develop business models and manage projects.
Mentor junior colleagues, helping them learn new technologies and skills while guiding them in their career development.

What skills should you have?

A minimum of 5 years of meaningful work experience and a master's or bachelor's degree in a related field.
Extensive knowledge and experience with big data or cloud technologies such as Hadoop Stack, Azure, GCP, etc.
Strong technical experience in advanced analytics (e.g., data preparation, applied statistics, and data analysis) as well as a solid understanding of data engineering, machine learning, and GenAI solutions.
Strong business insight and experience in business case development, understanding business and user needs to identify shortcomings and potential new products.
Excellent communication and leadership skills; comfortable delivering results to customers and colleagues, and discussing technical concepts with a range of audiences.
Ability to manage project partners through effective expectation management, acting as a point of escalation, and positively influencing team dynamics.
Ability to define and coordinate work for a team and lead development and implementation end-to-end.

The following skills and experience would also be an asset:

Strong understanding of agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and experience in building and maintaining a product backlog.
Familiarity with planning and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Confluence).
