Senior DevOps Engineer

ImFusion is an independent R&D company based in Munich. We help our customers drive innovation in medical imaging through our software platform for image processing, computer vision, AI, and robotics. We are looking to expand our team with a talented and motivated people to help develop and commercialize medical products in collaboration with our renowned partners.

As Senior DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with our software engineers and system administrator to build and strengthen our automation and CI/CD infrastructure — the backbone of our engineering efforts, enabling us to develop state-of-the-art products:

• Extend and continuously improve our infrastructure for automated building and testing native C++ and Python applications on Windows, Linux, and macOS
• Design and implement infrastructure for automated deployment and general automation
• Write scripts and implement scalable build pipelines for our modular libraries and applications
• Collaborate with our Machine Learning team to enhance automation and the user experience of our GPU compute cluster
• Stay up to date with the latest relevant technologies and best practices (e.g., by attending workshops and conferences)
• Share your knowledge and experience with the rest of the team

This position is offered as a permanent role based in our Munich office with a hybrid work setup possible.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms and implementing build pipelines for native applications (preferably C++/CMake and Python)
• Good proficiency with containerization using Docker
• Good scripting skills, preferably in Python
• Experience with the administration of both Windows and Linux machines; macOS is a plus
• Experience with automation tools and infrastructure as code concepts
• Experience with the following technologies is a plus:
  Ansible/AWX, TeamCity, pipeline-based CI such as Github Actions/Gitlab CI/Azure Pipelines, Virtualization/Proxmox, job scheduling systems such as SLURM
• You understand the requirements of a growing software company like us and are pro-active to address issues before they become problems

• Professional working proficiency in English
