Arbeitsbeschreibung - (Senior) Kubernetes Developer (m/w/d) - Managed Services

Our Hetzner Cloud team consists of around 70 employees and works both remotely across Germany and from our office in Munich (Unterföhring).

We are the Managed Services Team – the creative minds behind products we love and would use ourselves. Our goal? To make Hetzner Cloud’s powerful services even more accessible and provide our customers with turnkey solutions such as Kubernetes, Serverless Functions, and Databases. We focus on innovation, user-friendliness, and top-tier quality.

Our stack in keywords: Go, Kubernetes, HTTP, and PostgreSQL.

You will develop high-performance backend applications in Go, using modern technologies such as Kubernetes, HTTP, and PostgreSQL
You will automate and optimise development processes with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows
You will conduct targeted system experiments to detect and proactively prevent issues
You will contribute your ideas and actively shape our product – your input matters and makes a difference

You have strong programming skills, ideally in Go, and enjoy developing robust software
You don't just want to use Kubernetes – you want to help develop and improve it
You are passionate about distributed systems and approach challenges with curiosity and a problem-solving mindset
Code reviews are an essential part of teamwork and collaboration for you
Independence and team spirit are not contradictions for you – you work proactively and feel comfortable in distributed teams
You are fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
