Arbeitsbeschreibung - Senior Manager I Spiel - & Auktionstheorie & Verhandlungsführung (m/w/d)

Are you passionate about improving results? Then become part of the Kerkhoff team and support our team with your expertise in exciting projects as a Senior Manager (m/f/d) in the area of ‘Game & Auction Theory and Negotiation Management’ with a concrete development plan and fast career opportunities.
  • Independent project management - you are strategically and operationally responsible for the execution and implementation of game-theoretically optimised negotiation projects (from competitive awards to monopoly negotiations) and also contribute your experience and professionalism to multi-project management. This can be in the context of sub-projects with an interdisciplinary team or in pure negotiation projects. 
  • Responsible tasks - you manage several projects simultaneously and are responsible for costs, results and quality
  • Customer management - You are the contact person for the customer, build up a relationship and are responsible for project management. Professional project management is your basis for excellent customer communication.  
  • Leadership skills - You lead the project teams in the respective (sub)projects, delegate task packages, make strategic deductions and present project milestones to the customer. 
  • Solution-orientation - escalation management and the development of appropriate solutions to ensure project success and customer satisfaction are among your talents. You recognise any project risks at an early stage with pragmatic solutions. 
  • Know-how transfer - You act as a mediator of the latest scientific methods and pursue the goal of promoting our customers' understanding of game theory and further developing your own team.
  • Degree - You have successfully completed your studies, preferably in the fields of economics, business administration, (business) administration, mathematics, (industrial) engineering or (business) computer science, ideally with a focus on game/auction theory, market/mechanism design or industrial economics
  • Experience - You have several years of professional experience in the field of applied game theory, mechanism design, auction and negotiation theory as well as behavioural economics (e.g. experience in another consultancy, in-house consultancy or alternatively relevant experience in a project function, project management) and already have management experience. Experience in purchasing projects or a purchasing organisation is desirable. You have robust negotiating skills with a self-confident demeanour, also in bilateral negotiations (e.g. also in crisis negotiations with monopolists). You have professional experience in formulating (complex) issues and visualising them in PowerPoint formats suitable for customers.
  • Thinking skills - You have a high capacity for abstraction and can quickly find your way around complex structures 
  • Personality - You score points with a combination of personality, sensitivity in dealing with customers and quick comprehension skills
  • Communication skills - you communicate confidently with the purchasing department, users from other areas and decision-makers from top management
