Role 


We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join our team. This is a fully remote role based in Germany, reporting to the Senior Sales Engineering Manager within the Solutions Consulting department. 


You will be a key technical driver in our mission, presenting the Zscaler cloud security platform to prospective customers and translating their goals into enticing, relevant recommendations. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through their transformational journey while delivering technical victories.

  • Present the Zscaler cloud security platform to prospective customers

  • Set the vision and translate goals into enticing and relevant recommendations

  • Become the trusted advisor to our clients while aiding their transformational journey

  • Gather customer technical requirements and promote the value proposition in POV, presentations, and demos

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)



  • 8+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Systems Integrator

  • Deep knowledge of enterprise network or cloud security technologies

  • Proficiency with Value Selling Methodologies

  • Professional fluency in German and experience producing high-impact presentations and demonstrations

  • Proven experience partnering with sales to identify opportunities, build territory plans, and deliver proof of concept engagements


What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)



  • Cloud Platform certifications or other relevant credentials such as CISSP or CCNP

  • Subject matter expertise in SASE, Proxy technology, Cybersecurity, IPS, DLP, CASB, or CNAPP
