Arbeitsbeschreibung - Senior Systems Engineer (m/f/d)

  • Lead the development of specific part/feature of the System.
  • Develop and Document the system and functional concepts for an automated UAV system.
  • Understand the needs of customers and other stakeholders and translate them into system requirements.
  • Manage requirements and traceability from high levels to subsystems and components.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to other team members of an agile team to meet the program objectives.
  • Work closely with certification team, software team, hardware team and other stakeholders.
  • Take over responsibility for the validation and verification of the requirements and generating compliance evidence for the certification by the aviation authority.
  • Work in the environment of the agile management as a Product Owner or supporting the Product Owner.
  • Support customers and flight-testing department.
  • Engineering degree (ideally aerospace engineering, electrical engineering or software engineering).
  • 8+ years of professional experience as a systems engineer, preferably in the aviation industry.
  • Experience with systems engineering according to ARP4754A
  • Experience with the creation of system design descriptions.
  • Experience with agile development of aviation systems.
  • Knowledge in requirements management and RM-Tools. 
  • Knowledge of development and certification standards, ARP4754A; RTCA DO 160, DO254, DO 178C is a plus.
  • Good communication skills.
