Arbeitsbeschreibung - (Senior) Wind & Site Manager (m/w/d)

Preparation of energy yield forecasts taking into account site suitability (turbulence), noise immission, wind conditions and terrain complexity by means of sector-specific models.
Identification of further site-specific influencing variables to optimise the forecast
Estimates for immission control of wind farms - Sound and shadow calculations
Development and maintenance of the data basis for sound, shadow and yield calculations
Germany-wide analysis of potential wind farm sites, taking wind conditions and immission protection into account
Site inspections, detailed documentation and evaluation of site suitability of planned wind farms
Planning and coordination of wind measurements
Technical management of external experts and service providers, as well as review and verification of external expert reports

A successfully completed university education in the field of renewable energies, meteorology, physics or similar
Fluent in the German language
Passion for the development of renewable energies and ideally already experience in this future-oriented sector
Relevant professional experience in wind modelling and in working with WindPro and WAsP
At best, knowledge of ArcGIS Pro
Creativity and result-orientation in finding solutions to complex problems
