About the role

What work will you do?
We're looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join our family of fearlessly curious truth-seekers.   
zeroG Solution Architects lead the design of robust, customer-centric technology solutions across aviation & logistics industries. This role involves translating business needs into actionable architectures, guiding delivery teams, and ensuring scalable, secure implementations which deliver real business value. Ideal candidates thrive in dynamic consulting environments and excel at stakeholder alignment and solution storytelling.

In this role, you will:

Be a trusted partner with new and potential zeroG customers, actively understanding business problems, translating into architecture design, and creating solution blueprints aligned with customer goals and enterprise constraints
Partner with diverse delivery teams of data scientists, data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementations
Lead pre-sales activities to create new business opportunities and extend existing customer engagements
Develop and maintain architectural, data governance, and data management standards, balancing speed with long-term value
Coach and mentor other zeroG colleagues in Solution Architecture

What skills should you have?

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software/data engineering, or a related subject, or equivalent business experience
Minimum of 7+ years professional experience in data, analytics or a related subject area, including a strong foundation in Machine Learning (ML) and Generative AI (GenAI)
A proven track record in solution architecture design and implementation of data-centric, machine learning-based systems across the full lifecycle (training, deployment, monitoring)
Expertise in cloud environments such as Azure, Google Cloud or AWS
Excellent technical understanding for catering to non-functional requirements including query performance, data quality, machine learning model performance and security
Ability to explain complex analytical concepts to a non-technical audience (including senior stakeholders) for effective sales activities and customer engagements
A high capacity for abstraction, to independently perform in ambiguous and flexible environments, and excellent problem-solving abilities

Gen-AI / LLMs: e.g. Open-AI, Gemini
Data Platform tools: e.g. Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Synapse, Apache Spark
BI tools: e.g. Tableau, Power BI
DevOps tools: e.g. CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Enterprise, Azure DevOps
Experience in modern data architectures: lakehouse, data warehousing, OLTP/OLAP
Data modeling skills: dimensional, normalized, and NoSQL
Networking and Security: Proficiency in networking principles and securing data-centric systems, especially in cloud environments
Programming Languages: e.g. Python, Java, Scala, SQL
