Staff Engineer Electrical (m/w/d)

In-house product support for multi-megawatt frequency converters used in wind turbines
Management of new and further development of drive components
Participation in the definition, development and validation of alternative solutions for obsolete components and subsystems
Provide customer support on technical issues related to the drive product family, both internally and at customer sites.
Assist in quality assessment and root cause analysis of electrical components, drives and initiation of corrective actions.
Cross-functional coordination of work with other development departments, sales, product management and production
Participation in international working groups (Sofia and Krakow)following skills and experience would be desirable:

Degree in Electrical Engineering
At least eight years' experience in the above field
Extensive and relevant knowledge of wind turbine drives, ideally based on experience with a drive manufacturer or wind turbine manufacturer (Vestas / GE / SRGE, Enercon or similar)
Experience of the functionality and requirements of variable speed drives
A high degree of initiative and a systematic, independent way of working
Knowledge of electrical component qualification
Technical English and German at C1 level
