Team Lead Accounting (m/w/d)

The Team Lead Accounting is responsible for correct accounting of all Matrix42 entities and developing the team members. This includes the quality assurance for the daily accounting (general and sub-ledger), preparation of month end closing and analysis, supporting and preparing individual financial statements and developing the team members.

• Ensuring the accurate and timely posting of journal entries including revenue recognition 
• Preparing individual financial statements and IFRS reporting packages 
• Standardizing accounting and processes between the individual entities
• Liaising with auditors, tax advisors as well as other external and internal parties (especially Treasury, Tax and Controlling) 
• Managing and developing the team 
• Month end closing & analysis 
• Ensuring matching inter-company positions
• Developing our audit guideline & processes

MUST HAVE

• University degree in business administration or accounting 
• 10+ years professional experience 
• First management experience
• Extensive experience in accounting according to IFRS and HGB
• Strong in VAT knowledge, Excel and in depth knowledge of ERP
• Strong analytical and communication skills. Ability to work with remote teams
• Business Fluent in German and English (Finnish or other language will be a plus)
