Arbeitsbeschreibung - Team Lead Data Center Management (all genders)

We are looking for a full-time, permanent Team Lead Data Center Management (all genders) to start as soon as possible. We live remote-first, but you can choose whether you want to work hybrid or entirely on-site, depending on your proximity to one of our locations.

You will ensure that the right amount of the right hardware is available at the right time and in the right place. In doing so, you will not only ensure smooth operations, but also contribute directly to customer satisfaction. Our customers rely on their hosting services being provided quickly and reliably. Even if you no longer set up servers yourself, your decisions have a direct impact on how smoothly everything runs. In this role, you will lead a team of several people and have an overview of our global infrastructure.

Capacity planning is your daily business: you ensure that servers and spare parts are ready for use worldwide at the right time. You manage remote hands teams across different time zones, optimize processes, and ensure that every step is taken correctly. Process management and design are essential here — you analyze existing processes, identify potential for optimization, and ensure that our processes keep pace with the growth of the company.

Even if your focus is on planning and control, you are knowledgeable enough to evaluate hardware, conduct tests, and select the best components for our infrastructure. Data analysis helps you make informed decisions, avoid bottlenecks, and make processes even more efficient.

Several years of professional and management experience in a similar environment
Strong coordination skills
Very good German and English skills
IT know-how, e.g. through training as an IT specialist for system integration or equivalent professional experience
Good Linux skills and experience in automation are desirable
