Team Lead Software Development

As the team lead, you will lead a cross-functional team of engineers working on a critical big data application for traffic monitoring. In this capacity, you will facilitate the team’s agile processes while also contributing to the technical development of the system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of engineers, ensuring high performance, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
• Lead the agile working style of the team, ensuring team alignment, productivity, and continuous improvement, with a focus on high-quality software delivery, impediment management, and acceptance test driven development.
• Hands-on contributions in all stages of development. Our Tech stack is Python, Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, MinIO/S3 Kubernetes.
• Oversee delivery management and customer communication.

For this role, we follow a flexible hybrid model, usually requiring two to three days per week on-site at our Potsdam office.

• Previous experience as team lead/Scrum Master in the software development field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong understanding of agile principles and practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills, with the ability to manage both technical and agile responsibilities.
• Proficiency in English (C1) is crucial, German (C1) is preferred.
• A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, engineering, or data science. Higher degrees are preferred.
