Arbeitsbeschreibung - Video Editor for Social Media (all genders welcome)
You will edit branded digital video content and assets with an international focus for our GESKE Social Media channels such as Instagram, TikTok, Youtube
You will work together with actress, who is the Face of Geske brand, and you will have an active role in deciding the final video asset output
You will be responsible for the postproduction of the filmed material, including editing, color grading, visual effects and sound design.
You will need to edit the videos in such a way that they are engaging, funny, memorable, keeping brand CI on one side and being trendy and engaging on the other
You will advise on the quality of each production step and contribute specialized feedback that helps everyone complete their tasks successfully
You will create relevant video content with a mobile-first approach for our e-commerce customer journey
You will ensure a consistent level of quality and minimal turnaround times for video projects
You will be responsible for a natural and engaging flow in each piece of video content while always keeping in mind the creative idea and concept behind the content
You will support and consult other members of the creative team from a technical expert perspective on video formats and possibilities
You have several years of relevant work experience in video editing and production
You are up to date on industry standards and best practices in video productions, with a focus on Social Media channels
You have strong skills in color grading, video and sound editing
You have a deep know-how of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere and After Effects (and Audition)
Previous experience with other industry software such as Davinci Resolve, Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro X is a plus
You are solution-oriented, efficient and have a track record of working well in an interdisciplinary team
You are a self-starter and have a team-focused attitude
Creativity to develop innovative ideas that make our brand stand out on Social Media
Familiarity with current Social Media trends and the specific requirements of the platforms (e.g. reels, shorts and longer videos).
You are fluent in English; German is a plus
