Arbeitsbeschreibung - Working Student - Event Marketing (m/f/d)

As a Working Student in Event Marketing, you will support our Brand & Field Marketing team in planning, organizing, and executing various events that strengthen Checkmk’s presence in the IT industry. You will gain hands-on experience in event management from a marketing perspective, while working in an innovative and tech-driven environment. Your contributions will help us create impactful experiences for our community, customers, and prospects.

Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and branding materials
Assist in the planning and execution of event sponsorships in trade shows in both EU and the US, and for our two product events: the Checkmk Conference and the Checkmk Partner in Munich
Manage branded merchandise and marketing collateral at our Munich office
Create and publish event-related content via website pages, email marketing, and other communication channels
Conduct post-event analyses, gather feedback, and provide recommendations for improvement
Collaborate cross-team and with agencies and suppliers

Curious and eager to learn. You are currently enrolled in a related Bachelor or Master’s program for at least the next 2 semesters
Energetic and Reliable. You are comfortable driving your own ideas and acting independently, as well as working collaboratively
Detail-oriented. You have exceptional organizational skills to coordinate different projects simultaneously
Data-driven. You are able to identify opportunities that can lead to an increase in event registrations, to capitalize on them and to run reports
Experienced. You have already gained some experience in Marketing and/or an event role, working cross-departments and/or with external stakeholders in internships or previous working student positions
Communicative. You are able to communicate clearly both inside and outside the organization in both English and German (writing and speaking)
