Working Student Technical Operations (m/f/d)

The balance of power in the energy industry needs to change. The intermittency of renewable supply and the constant demands of the grid mean that we still rely on less efficient, more expensive and unsustainable fossil fuels to keep the lights on. 

At Gridfuse, our mission is to shift this balance through technology. To shift the balance of inputs, so that renewables become the world's main source of electricity. To shift the balance of the grid by building renewable power pools that can balance themselves in the face of unpredictability and intermittency. 

It takes a unique team to meet this vision. You will join our Connect team, which is responsible for developing the software ​to integrate our assets and troubleshoot ​in case of connection issues. It's a team of ​Frontend- and Backend Engineers, as well as a Product- and ​Engineering Manager. 

• Connecting: You support in connecting assets (wind- and solar parks) to the Gridfuse platform
• Communicating: You will be one of the first touchpoints for asset operators and ensure a smooth and efficient collaboration between traders, asset operators and internal teams as well as driving the connection topic between internal teams at GF
• Supporting: You support troubleshooting in case of connection issues and supporting the continuous improvement of the asset integration process
• Networking: Together with our DevOps and Network Engineers, you will ensure a secure and reliable connection to our assets
• Documenting: You see great value in the technical documentation of your work 

• Ownership: You are a self-starter and love to work in a fast-paced start up environment
• Communication: You are a confident communicator – in German- and English-speaking settings
• Tech: Your are currently enrolled in a technical field of study - you therefore have a good understanding linux systems and network infrastructures
• Interest: You love automating things to make workflows more efficient and less prone to errors
• Passion: You are passionate about driving the energy transition and would like to first-hand experience processes related to empowering renewable energies
