Arbeitsbeschreibung - Research Scientist (gn) insect cells with focus on small- and mid-scale screening

Contribution to multidisciplinary teams with own scientific expertise to achieve corporate and customer goals of challenging drug discovery projects within the field of insect cell culture
You will be responsible for developing, execution and optimization of expression strategies for protein production in insect cells
Your main focus will be small- and mid-scale screening for our insect cell expression platform as well as supporting those efforts for E.coli
Preparation of all relevant project documentation (i.e. SOPs, technical reports, project plans, scientific presentations) will also be part of your work as well as their review and training
Presentation of the scientific results as well as convincing and confident communication of the content to colleagues, customers and business partners

PhD in biochemistry or related field with an excellent proven track record
Ideally 1-2 years working experience in the pharmaceutical industry regarding the development of small- or mid-scale screening for insect cells. Experience with other cell systems is a plus.
Hands-on mentality with a problem-solving mindset and attention to details
Your positive and open personality helps you to understand other opinions and contributes to productive project discussions with internal and costumer project teams
You work independent and service-oriented with an outstanding team spirit and excellent organization and communication skills
