The Center for Research Software Engineering (RSE Center) currently being established at the University of Stuttgart supports researchers in the professional development, sustainable provision, and quality assurance of research software. As an institutional hub, the RSE Center strengthens the visibility of research software as an integral component of modern science and promotes reproducible, efficient research processes.
The Center offers consulting services, in-house software development, training, and close connections to central university facilities. By pooling expertise and building a pool of RSE positions, it helps to provide targeted support for third-party funded projects and to create university-wide synergies. The RSE Center is part of the University of Stuttgart’s digital research infrastructure and actively networks with national and international initiatives.
As part of the RSE Center, you will actively help shape the University of Stuttgart’s digital research landscape. You will work at the interface between research and infrastructure and contribute to the successful implementation of scientific projects through FAIR software solutions.
