You enjoy building relationships, sparking conversations with potential customers, and playing a key role in driving pipeline creation. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be at the heart of the sales engine for FARO INSIGHT. From qualifying leads to coordinating product demonstrations and supporting Account Managers, your work will directly contribute to revenue growth and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, curious, and energized by working with innovative technologies in an international environment.

 
Within the Sales department at FARO INSIGHT, you will collaborate closely with outside sales, marketing, and regional teams. You will act as a true brand ambassador, helping customers discover the value of FARO INSIGHT’S technologies while developing a strong professional network.

 

We are seeking a Sales Development Representative (m/f/d), located in Germany or Belgium.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate closely with multiple Account Managers to drive revenue growth through outbound prospecting



  • Qualify leads and prospects using a solution-based discovery approach (understanding customer workflows, pain points and desired outcome)



  • Manage prospects from initial lead generation through to the demo stage, showcasing the value proposition, navigating objections, and fostering meaningful relationships



  • Drive pipeline growth through a combination of outbound prospecting (calls, email, social media) and inbound lead follow-up



  • Schedule and coordinate product demonstrations in collaboration with Account Managers



  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce (leads, contacts, opportunities)



  • Use sales intelligence tools to identify and target prospects aligned with the Ideal Customer Profile




Education, Experience & Skills:



  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Communications or related field, and proven sales or business development experience or equivalent work experience


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English, German and Dutch are a must


  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in business development or B2B sales  including lead generation and cold calling within an international company



  • Experience in technology sales focusing on top of funnel



  • Experience in manufacturing and/or high-tech industries is a strong advantage



  • Hands-on experience Salesforce CRM, Sales Engagement (or other cadencing tool), LinkedIn, and 6Sense (or other account intelligence platform).



  • Familiarity with the sales funnel and lead qualification methodologies (e.g., BANT, CHAMP).
