Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Application Configuration Engineer / Pre-Sales Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be a crucial technical resource in the pre-sales process, focusing on configuring and demonstrating our cutting-edge Hypatos solutions to potential clients. Your expertise in application configuration and your ability to prepare and present effective demos and Proof of Value (POV) projects will be key to our sales success. If you have a passion for technology and a talent for translating complex solutions into compelling demonstrations, this role is your opportunity to contribute significantly to our company's growth.

Responsibilities:
• Configure and tailor Hypatos solutions to meet specific client needs during the pre-sales process.
• Prepare and present demos and POVs to potential clients, showcasing the capabilities and benefits of our AI/ML technologies.
• Work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and develop effective demonstration strategies.
• Provide technical expertise and support in the preparation of sales proposals and presentations.
• Collaborate with product development teams to stay updated on new features and enhancements, ensuring accurate and effective demos.
• Participate in technical discussions with clients, offering insights and solutions for integrating Hypatos into their existing IT infrastructure.
• Assist in the development of technical documentation and resources for the sales team.

Your Profile:
• Proven experience in application configuration, particularly in a pre-sales or sales engineering role.
• Strong technical background, ideally in AI, ML, or related fields, with experience in back-office automation and semi-structured document processing.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have:
• Experience working with Enterprise ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, MSD365) and Business Software/SaaS applications.
• German, both written and spoken, with strong English language skills.
• Educational background in Technology & Management, Industrial/Business Engineering, or related fields.

Technical Expertise Requirements:
• Proficiency in configuring and demonstrating software solutions, particularly in an AI/ML context.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with IT teams and product development teams.
Nice to have:
• Experience with Enterprise Workflow Solutions (e.g., Coupa, xSuite, OpenText) and familiarity with Python, SQL, ML, RPA, and BI Tools.

Project Management:
• Manage technical aspects of pre-sales projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery of demos and POVs.
• Utilize technical expertise to showcase the strategic impact and value of Hypatos solutions.

Continuous Learning and Development:
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in AI, ML, ERP systems, and other relevant technologies.
• Engage in professional development activities to enhance technical and pre-sales skills.
