Arbeitsbeschreibung - Sales Manager EMEA (m/f/d)

As a Sales Manager, you are the driving force behind the successful achievement of our monthly targets and the further development of our sales team. Your role combines strategic thinking with practical implementation in order to optimally support the team and achieve our goals.

  • Team Leadership: You will lead the Account Executive team, accompany customer meetings and support negotiations. You build trust, provide ongoing constructive feedback and motivate your team
  • Training & Development: You develop training programs, workshops and training sessions for newly hired and existing Account Executives to improve their performance and approach in a sustainable and individual way
  • Market and Product: You build up in-depth knowledge of your target market and Checkmk, develop plans to tap further potential and ensure that your team's sales skills continuously improve  
  • Analysis & Strategy: You analyze activities, sales figures and team performance and derive targeted measures to achieve goals
  • Reporting: You prepare regular reports on team and individual performance, are responsible for your team's forecast and ensure transparent reporting of results
  • Process Optimization: You optimize our sales processes by identifying and implementing improvements
  • Cooperation: Through close internal cooperation with other managers from sales and marketing, you will improve sales strategies in a targeted manner and contribute to the growth of the company
Do you have a passion for sales and employee development? Then you ideally bring the following to the table:

  • Professional experience: at least 7 years experience in sales, ideally in a software company (B2B). Consistent track record and overachievement of own sales targets
  • Leadership skills: Experience in leading a team and excellent skills in developing and motivating other employees
  • Specialist knowledge: In-depth knowledge of sales processes as well as excellent understanding of IT monitoring
  • Sensitivity: Individual leadership, the ability to develop individual solutions and empathy for the different characters in the team
  • Communication: Convincing and motivating communication skills - in German and English
  • Analytical thinking: A CRM enthusiast who uses data to help the team succeed; strong ability to recognize data-driven trends or gaps in target achievement to initiate and drive change
  • Hands-on mentality: Proactive approach and enjoy tackling and developing things together
