While our software is already in use at more than 25 partners worldwide, we are continuously improving & expanding it. Therefore, we work in close collaboration with our applicational partners and customers to build a modern cloud platform which solves the most pressing challenges of analytical chemists. Over the next years, we’ll continue to grow and scale our platform globally. Therefore, we will expand our team, technical capabilities as well as customer projects. Our goal is to create the number one software platform for analytical chemistry which we want to deliver to thousands of labs globally.
Together with you, we want to bring NXT Spectra into laboratories across Germany, Europe, and beyond. You will take ownership of the full sales lifecycle: identifying and qualifying relevant contacts, designing outbound campaigns, conducting product demonstrations, preparing offers, negotiating terms, and guiding opportunities from the first conversation to the final deal. You will also develop our key accounts, identify new use cases, and build long-term relationships with decision-makers.
You will interact with customers from different fields like aroma & fragrance, pharmaceutical testing, speciality chemicals, food and water analysis & environmental analysis to understand their use-cases. For customer projects, you will lead project management and design: structuring requirements, developing project plans and commercial concepts, coordinating internal resources, and aligning milestones with customers and our technical team.

You are available to visit customers or present at trade shows throughout Germany and Europe on ~30 days per year.
You have a degree in natural sciences such as chemistry, biology, or physics; a technical qualification, a degree in economics combined with experience in the field of chemistry; or as a lab technician with additional industry expertise.
Initial experience in fields such as B2B sales, marketing, science communication, or key account management will allow you to grow quickly.
Experience in the chemical industry enables you to understand the industry-specific challenges and practices of this sector.
You are comfortable planning projects with customers and coordinating them with all stakeholders.
You have some knowledge in chemistry, or even analytical chemistry, which allows you to translate the specific needs of laboratory leads into offers and projects.
You are familiar with a wide range of software tools, including expertise in MS 365, e.g. SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint; CRM systems, e.g. HubSpot; LLM tools, e.g. ChatGPT; and project management tools such as Asana.
You have heard of, or even worked with lead generation and sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clay, or Apollo.
We’re a team of six with very different but strong backgrounds from data analysis and AI to office management or science communication. We work from four different cities, including from our office in Cologne, and meet in person every 3 to 4 months for a few days. This way, we enjoy the benefits of remote work while maintaining a close, collaborative culture.
Operating at the interface of chemistry & IT our work is inherently interdisciplinary. We learn from each other every day, professionally and personally. We mostly speak English to collaborate smoothly with international partners and colleagues. We exchange ideas continuously which enables us to try and deliver new things quickly.
In the coming years, we will deliver our software to diverse customers around Europe. A key focus is to understand our users needs, to solve their challenges with NXT Spectra and to grow as a company.
