Arbeitsbeschreibung - Sales Manager to Semiconductor manufacturing equipment companies

An international manufacturer of automation technology seeks a Business Development / Sales Manager to join their growing operation in Germany.

The role will focus on selling pneumatic components, motion control drives & Ultra High Purity components to Semiconductor manufacturing equipment companies.
Business Development / Sales Manager will also oversee developing new business with Semiconductor manufacturing equipment companies especially in Dresden area.

As the product is already used in lots of companies, this role would be ideally suited to those experienced in both new business development and keeping good relationships with existing clients.

Once a month, you will be required to visit the office in Ulm for the meeting with distributor.

TYPE: Permanent, full time
SALARY: €100K annually depending on experience + Company car
START: Negotiable
LOCATION: Full-remote in Germany
WORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:30 (lunch 30 minutes)

Business Development / Sales Manager Core Duties:
New business development
•Your primary role will be to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, driving their distributors network, attending fairs or other means of generating interest from potential clients, to create a robust pipeline of opportunities, to secure new orders and to increase business in Germany
•You will be planning persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with them
•You will be responsible to meet the European sales target in terms of number of units, revenue and profitability
Sales strategy development, sales planning and execution
•Strategic planning is a key part of this role since it is the business manager’s responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming into the company
•You will contribute to the development of their sales plan for the coming years and its execution in collaboration with the other sales member, their distributors and the overseas sales division
•Once a month, you will be required to visit the office in Ulm for the meeting with distributor.
Clients retention and growth
•You will also be required to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new parts to clients, listening to the feedback of customers and interface with our product development team
•In collaboration with our distributors, you will be nurturing the existing relationships with key customers to develop local ambassadors
Business Development / Sales Manager Ideal Candidate:
•5 years relevant sales or marketing experience selling directly and indirectly to Semiconductor manufacturing equipment companies
•University degree or equivalent formal education in business or marketing would be welcomed
•Fluent in English and native level of German language is required
