Job Purpose

This role sits at the heart of our sales operation — translating ideas into executable, high-performing campaigns across digital, CTV, audio and content marketing. You’ll work closely with Sales, StoryWorks, Ad Ops and clients to turn briefs into smart, creative, data-informed media plans and ensure campaigns are delivered brilliantly.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Sales Planning & Campaign Development
•    Build smart, compelling media plans in response to agency and client briefs
•    Contribute ideas that combine digital, mobile, CTV, audio and StoryWorks content marketing solutions
•    Work with the Pricing & Inventory team to shape tailored packages and identify new opportunities
•    Book and manage campaigns across relevant platforms and systems to ensure flawless execution
•    Collaborate closely with Sales, StoryWorks, Ad Operations and Finance to bring campaigns to life



Campaign Management & Reporting
•    Monitor campaign delivery and troubleshoot to ensure performance targets are met
•    Deliver insightful post-campaign reports with clear recommendations and learnings
•    Support the Sales team with data, insights and materials for client presentations



Collaboration & Customer Service
•    Build strong working relationships with media agencies and direct clients
•    Partner with ANZ and APAC teams to ensure best practice and compliance with global processes
•    Be known internally as a digital and data advocate within the sales team



Professional Development
•    Stay across industry trends, tools and innovations
•    Develop your capability across digital platforms, data and content marketing
•    Demonstrate BBC Values in all internal and external interactions

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

You have at least 2 years’ experience in media (agency or media owner side) with strong digital exposure, and you’re ready to step into a broader, more strategic planning role.



You’re detail-oriented, commercially aware, comfortable with data, and confident working across multiple teams and systems.



Essential experience
•    Digital media planning or campaign management experience
•    Google Ad Manager (GAM)
•    Strong Excel skills
•    Understanding of the Australian agency landscape
•    Knowledge of ad serving processes and digital campaign delivery



Highly regarded
•    Google Analytics, Tableau
•    Operative, Salesforce, Media Cloud or other CRM systems
•    Experience with data platforms (e.g. Permutive or similar DMP)
•    Nielsen, Comscore or similar reporting tools
•    Inventory and forecasting exposure
•    PowerPoint / client-ready presentation skills
