Role Overview
This role serves as a pivotal hub within XPLM Global Sales, acting like a turnstile that connects Sales Leadership, internal teams, and partner networks so that the business can scale effectively worldwide. It combines operational and analytical responsibilities across global sales channels—direct and partner-based—by supporting collaboration with cross-functional teams, handling partner and contract processes, ensuring pipeline visibility and data quality, preparing QBR materials, delivering accurate reporting, and analyzing key metrics such as forecasts, renewals, and ARR to enable informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Extended Enterprise Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Leadership and other departments such as Direct and Channel Sales, Marketing, Product Management,, Sales Ops, as well as our global partner network. The role ensures seamless collaboration across all sales channels to support business growth for XPLM worldwide.
Sales Support: Collaborate closely with Aras/XPLM sales organization to support partner-based opportunities which includes preparing sales forecasting & risk reports, proposals, order management support, assistance with quotes, renewals and presentations as needed.
Partner Administration: Work closely with the Global Alliances team to manage partner-related processes, including contract administration (internal coordination with Legal and external with partners), quote assistance, fee handling, supplier questionnaires, system access, and contract terminations. Additionally, support inbound deal registration and approval workflows within Salesforce.com to ensure smooth partner engagement and compliance.
Pipeline Management Support: Focus on improving pipeline visibility and data quality by ensuring accurate lead qualification, maintaining clean CRM data, and supporting database integrity. Collaborate with Sales and Partner Management teams to make opportunities and lead transparency and actionable.
QBR Support: Assist with the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process by preparing relevant data, reports, and presentations, and providing support throughout each review cycle. Ensure accurate metrics such as pipeline status, revenue forecasts, and key performance indicators are available for decision-making.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate reports on sales progress, forecasts, renewals, and risk assessments. Ensure data integrity and timely reporting to support Sales Leadership and Global Alliances team decisions.
Data Analysis: Analyze sales and pipeline data, including ARR and renewal trends, to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making within the Global Alliances team.
Contract Management: Handle customer and partner documents along the sales process by pre-checking external contracts (primarily NDAs) and conducting initial customer discussions. Issue test license agreements to potential customers, initiate and monitor electronic signing workflows, and maintain regular coordination with Legal to clarify pending topics and execute related tasks. Act as the reference point for contract-related information to ensure accuracy and consistency throughout the process.
Risk & Renewal Coordination: This role ensures clarity and alignment across renewal‑related issues by serving as the central coordination point between internal teams, partners, and customers. It identifies issues, risks, and gaps early, brings the right stakeholders together, and guides them through complex or unclear renewal situations. The role may provide occasional support for operational renewal roles/teams where needed.
Global Project Management Support: Support global, cross-functional projects as needed, representing the Sales organization in initiatives such as CRM enhancements, organizational changes and restructuring efforts.
Preferred Qualifications:
3-5+ years of experience in a sales support capacity
Experience with Salesforce demonstrating technical aptitude in maintaining and evolving our SFDC instance
Demonstrated team player with positive attitude and a disposition willing to do whatever is needed to drive the team’s success
Strong data reconciliation skills via Excel, Power BI, SFDC or another tool across various systems
Well-organized, strong communication skills and ability to influence directly and indirectly to drive impact
Ability to work with all levels of management and across multiple functional teams from tactical activity to strategic discussion
