Senior Accountant (all genders)

We are currently expanding our accounting department and are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant (m/f/d) with in-depth knowledge of German and US accounting law, experience in consolidation in accordance with US GAAP and specific knowledge in the field of e-commerce to start as soon as possible.

As with all our jobs, this one is characterised by diversity and a high degree of creative freedom. You will also work directly with the CFO.

• Preparation of monthly, annual and consolidated financial statements in accordance with HGB and US GAAP
• Consolidation in accordance with US GAAP
• Establishment and further development of an efficient financial reporting and analysis system
• Optimisation of booking processes, especially in the e-commerce sector
• Administration and billing of online payment systems (e.g. PayPal, Stripe)
• Monitoring and booking of transactions from various online sales channels
• Processing international sales tax issues in e-commerce
• Implementation and optimisation of automated accounting processes
• Contact person for tax consultants, auditors and internal stakeholders
• Support with the introduction and extended use of our ERP system
• Making accounting at Zellerfeld even more interesting

• Degree in business administration or comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting, including at least 2 years with US GAAP or IFRS
• Proven experience in accounting for e-commerce companies
• Sound knowledge of German commercial and tax law, especially in the area of e-commerce
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and their accounting interfaces
• Very good knowledge of the administration of online payment systems
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Confident handling of common accounting software and MS Office
• Analytical thinking and a high affinity for numbers
• Desire to significantly and sustainably influence processes
