You’ll break new ground by 

• Designing, implementing, and optimizing advanced process control solutions for Siemens’ customers.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate modern control technologies into production systems.
• Contributing to the APC value chain from product development, service to maintenance.
• Supporting ongoing operational improvements by leveraging the latest advanced process control (APC) and machine learning technologies.
• Contributing to the continuous refinement of products and solutions in the process control field.

Your success is grounded in

• Education: Master´s degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering (preferred), Control Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience & Skills
• Long-term experience in implementing APC solutions in a process industry environment and leading complex projects.
• Experience with distributed control systems, process instrumentation and supervisory control applications.
• Experience with APC implementation or business case development.
• Proven experience with DMC+, Capstone MPC, INCA MPC, Forge Advanced Process Control, DeltaV Predict, or similar advanced process control platforms.
• Ideally, you are skilled in industrial computing and networking (including OPC and ODBC/SQL data communications), familiar with DCS (SCADA, HMI) and/or PLC configuration, and knowledgeable in APC products.
