Senior AI Developer (m/f/d) - Remote within Germany

In this exciting role as Senior AI Developer (m/f/d) you will contribute significantly to VERSO's sustainable success and growth. 
You will be instrumental in building and shaping our AI team from the ground up. You’ll drive the development of innovative AI solutions that enhance our products and optimize internal processes. By leveraging cutting-edge machine learning techniques, you will help lay the foundation for a scalable, impactful AI strategy while continuously pushing the boundaries of AI application within our organization.

In all of this, you will grow with VERSO and constantly develop both our Development team as well as yourself.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Help build a great AI team that delivers value across all our products
• Build great AI solutions – Develop, improve and deploy machine learning models using Python
• Research cutting-edge approaches from Artificial Intelligence and apply them to optimize internal workflows as well as our products
• Bring in your ideas to make our products even better or to optimize internal processes
• Specify and challenge requirements for our infrastructure

• You have a background in computer science with a minimum of 5 years of working experience.
• You have solid and profound experience with Python AI related libraries, LLMs and Microsoft Azure or related AI infrastructure
• You are interested in sustainability.
• You are able to switch between working independently and self-responsibly on projects and close collaboration with your team.
• You have a permanent residency in Germany.
• You are fluent in English, both spoken and written and ideally have basic German skills.
