As an Animator with welevel, your expertise will transform static models into dynamic characters and environments that breathe life into the mesmerizing world of SolidRiver. You won't just be animating; you'll be storytelling, evoking emotions and delivering memorable moments for our global audience.

• Create a wide range of realistic, dynamic and engaging character and creature animations, from action-packed combat sequences to fluid social interactions between players and NPCs.
• Collaborate closely with Game Designers and Technical Artists to ensure animations are seamlessly integrated with gameplay mechanics and technical specifications.
• Utilize cutting-edge tools, including motion capture and AI technology, to enhance the efficiency and realism of animations.
• Rig, animate, and integrate animations directly within Unreal Engine 5, optimizing for seamless gameplay, high performance, and visual fidelity.
• Iterate based on feedback from regular reviews, continuously refining animations to meet project goals and gameplay requirements.
• Develop and maintain robust rigs and animation libraries to streamline the workflow and support rapid iteration.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in animation, rigging, motion capture, and AI technologies to drive innovation in the animation pipeline.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in animation, preferably contributing to AAA titles.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your work in 3D character and creature animation.
• Proficiency in industry-leading animation software such as Maya or Blender.
• Experience with Unreal Engine or a strong willingness to learn it.
• Ability to create animations that work from every angle, not limited to one camera perspective.
• Mastery of animation essentials such as timing, weight, acceleration and impact.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
• Passion for gaming, particularly survival RPGs and city-building genres, is highly desirable.
