Arbeitsbeschreibung - SENIOR CONSULTANT (M/W/DIV.) RESTRUCTURING

We are currently looking for senior consultants to join and support the FalkenSteg team with our restructuring and insolvency consultancy activities.

  • Villingen-Schwenningen
  • You will be part of small project teams with flat hierarchies, where you will be given close guidance by our experienced employees and partners
  • You will experience a steep learning curve by working intensively on projects here at FalkenSteg
  • You will work pragmatically with a solution-centric approach in line with the hands-on mentality we uphold
  • You will strengthen and expand your skills in finance, insolvency law and restructuring in a project environment spanning various industries
  • Assisting with restructuring and insolvency clients
  • Working with colleagues to implement initial measures in insolvency proceedings
  • Helping to prepare recovery and restructuring blueprints and expert reports
  • Conducting strategic, performance and financial analyses of businesses
  • Assisting with workshops and interviews with the client
  • Creating client acquisition and business presentations
  • Preparing for and organising meetings with banks and creditors
  • Working on internal company development projects
  • Degree from a higher-education institution with above-average results in economic/legal studies or a comparable programme (minimum requirement: bachelor’s, master’s, German Diplom or formal course of training to be a business professional preferred)
  • At least three years of experience in consulting on restructuring, recovery or insolvency
  • Entrepreneurial mindset (ideally, you already have experience as an entrepreneur)
  • Keen interest in the worlds of restructuring, recovery and insolvency
  • Analytical and structured approach to work
  • Team player, self-directed, confident disposition, flexible and willing to travel
  • Commitment to excellence by producing precise work
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and German (additional foreign language skills advantageous)
  • Deep project involvement – we will involve you in our ongoing projects as a full-fledged team member with significant responsibilities
  • Challenging tasks – working closely with a project manager or company partner will ensure structured engagement and personal development
  • Personal responsibility – we will give you the opportunity to assume full responsibility for projects or sub-projects and begin to gain leadership experience
