We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to take charge of our data infrastructure and deliver scalable, high-impact solutions. In this role, you’ll own the end-to-end development of data systems that power GlassDollar’s core platform, contributing to both technical excellence and business success.

Architect Data Solutions: Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and backend interfaces that power our platform.
Optimize Search & AI: Build systems around ElasticSearch, vector embeddings, and LLMs, enabling efficient data retrieval and innovative recommendations.
Maintain Data Quality: Organize, restructure, and verify startup databases, ensuring accuracy and reliability at scale.
End-to-End Execution: Operate autonomously to deliver features that directly impact users and drive business growth.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product managers, UI/UX teams, and other stakeholders to align efforts with strategic goals.
Push the Product Forward: Focus on creating solutions that add value, demonstrating a deep understanding of the product’s vision and purpose.

Experience: 4+ years in software engineering or data-focused roles, with a proven track record in managing large-scale systems.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Relational Databases, ElasticSearch, LLMs, and Recommendation Systems.
Ecosystem Knowledge: Experience with startup ecosystems and handling related data sets.
Problem-Solving Mindset: A strategic thinker who can break down complex problems and deliver efficient, actionable solutions.
Autonomy & Impact: Ability to work independently, taking ownership of major projects and driving them to completion.
